Yeah!!! March!!! Here I go stating the obvious again… Come on Spring! The January Shows’ in Chicago were great! If you didn’t get an opportunity to come to one of them, check out the Gallery photos from the events on our Gotcha page, Shawn captured some of the highlights and of course we never miss on opportunity to take pictures of folks on bikes. As always there were some beautiful custom paint jobs, local builders and dealers and vendors from our area and nationally. The winter shows and swap meets are always a great way to get that fix during the winter months.
I would like to give a shout out to all of our new friends from the Honda Sport Touring Association and the D.R.I.L.L. the Ducati Riders of Illinois. What a great group of guys! I am definitely finding time to ride with these guys this season. After all of our new contacts these past few months, I’m reminded of how long I’ve lived here, ridden here and how little I know about “all” our area has to offer regarding our sport.
Each month we’re recommitted to be the information resource for motorcycling in our area! We all share the same roads and a similar love of the sport. And despite the news of the economy people are excited about getting to ride soon. No Surprise. And so it should be no surprise that Shawn and I are excited about this upcoming season and the new rides, venues, classes and information writers we plan on bringing you in our monthly newsletters and the quarterly publications.
Don’t forget to post your upcoming runs, events on the site. Remember it’s FREE and easy and although March 1st was our deadline for publishing in the April edition, the website is update daily and the monthly newsletters will continue to keep everyone posted of updates to new information. If you’re interested in having a page in the magazine where you’ll have opportunity to feature a story about what your business can do or is doing. Or if you would like to promote an event in the upcoming season, let Shawn know so we can hook up for an upcoming edition.
