If you want my Opinion...
Even though our riding season is shorter than other regions of the country, we make the most of the season we have. But remember it’s not over yet!
As I’m preparing this edition of the newsletter our area is preparing for Harley Davidson’s 105th Anniversary Party in Milwaukee. I know from past experience that the next seven to 10 days, northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin will be charged with the roar of engines and the swarms of riders navigating the highways and back roads leading to Milwaukee. My heart is already starting to race…..vroom vroom
Now of course I know that by now the event has passed and I hope all of you either had an opportunity to attend the event or one of the many party’s or concerts. Maybe you couldn’t get away but followed the party via news broadcasts or web sites. I know all of the enthusiasts were not just Harley owners, don’t fool yourself. If you’re a rider/enthusiast in these parts, you follow the party and enjoy the ride. I hope you all had an amazing weekend and rode your fannies off!
In this edition of the newsletter you will find, updates on the events we have covered since our last newsletter, (only a few shorts weeks ago) and some valuable information from our other states.
Watch for our upcoming link for the Illinois site, you will continue to find the rides for both states on either web site and the advertisers and business in our established area. But as we grow we will reference more of the northern Wisconsin information on the Wisconsin site and the southern Illinois rides and information on the Illinois site. Make sense? Let us know what you think. Through our web-sites we’ll strive to keep you informed on territory / national news for the riding community. Our monthly E-Newsletters will continue to highlight the, great efforts and groups that organize the benefits we cover on the weekends. As well as highlight the articles from the publication and important content from our other states. On a quarterly basis you can look forward to our full color publication which is convenient enough to keep with you on your bike and will include the best of our current content, Gotcha pictures including feature riders / couples / clubs / groups, and of course our advertisers.
Look for the publication at biker friendly establishments between Chicago and Rockford and as far north as Wisconsin Dells and east to Milwaukee. Tell your favorite “biker friendly establishments” or vendors about us we would be happy to include them, there is a link on our web site to become a distribution site.
Our biker friendly advertisers appreciate riders like you. You’ll find them on the map in the magazine or via our web site! Please support them and tell them Biker Information Guide sent you.
Please remember to go to the web site often for updates on runs and events. And please contribute any runs and events you would like everyone to know about. There are links to the easy to fill out forms on the front page of our website. Your Opinions are always welcome; you’ll find a link there too.
